Gravest Gravy is a long-shelved collection of recordings from The Cramps’ October 1977 sessions at Ardent Studios in Memphis with producer Alex Chilton. The album captures the band in its raw early form, blending garage rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, surf, soul, psychedelia, and punk influences. The 12-track collection includes early versions of songs such as “TV Set,” “Domino,” “Rockin’ Bones,” and “Can’t Find My Mind,” alongside previously unheard versions of several covers. The recordings were restored from the original analog tapes and officially released in 2026.
